Functions

The Divisional Commissioner serves as the head of the Revenue Department at the divisional level. The Deputy Commissioners of the ten districts within the Kashmir division report to the Divisional Commissioner, who acts as their controlling and supervisory authority, providing guidance and support for their functions. The Divisional Commissioner supervises Deputy Commissioners of the 10 districts under the Kashmir Division, including Srinagar, Ganderbal, Budgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Anantnag, Kulgam, Baramulla, Bandipora, and Kupwara.
